i personally don't find meaning in this series..
it strikes me as just someone who wanted to shock people by using real dead animals.
however, that's just my opinion.
i LOVE all the ''year of the pig'' photos. Amazing.
As for extreme reactions to the pig being dead... I think this pig can proudly say to the other pigglets in pigglet heaven that she didn't die in vain.
I truly respect u for making these photos, they have message, they have meaning and they provoke reactions and, more important -they provoke feelings.
=O This series is scarily amusing teehee. I love how her hair is wrapped around its...umm trotter?...Reminds me of those handbags moulded to looks like upturned pigs *shivers*
a dead pig with pearls pouring out of it's disembowled stomach? WOW....frankly, this just might be plain damn brilliant!
what i like so much about this piece is that the idea of a dead pig is probably thought by most to be ugly and gross, but the pig is really beautiful with it's skin tone matching the model's, and the skin itself being so smooth and luminescent....add the unexpected overflowing of pearls where entrails should be and that's just icing on the cake, not to mention aesthetically lovely
and the fact that a dead pig actually shocks some people makes it even better
this piece makes you question ugliness and beauty....i think that's great
but it really is a great shot.
